We’ve all grown up listing the names of fruits and vegetables since our kindergarten! Our elders were used to teach us about taste, colors and textures, accordingly. This has been an integral part of our primary upbringings. Perhaps this is the reason why whenever we look at the colorful array of fruits and vegetables stacked up neatly in our nearby grocery stores, we get a nostalgic glee, filling warmth in the pith of our stomach.
Some common fruits and vegetables names include carrots, cabbage, onions, cucumbers, capsicums, bananas, strawberries, oranges, peaches, avocados and much more. Other seasonal fruits names include pumpkins, lemons, grapefruits, tangerines for the winter. Apricots, mangoes, pineapples and rhubarbs come in the spring season. In the summer we get a fresh dose of blackberries, plums, raspberries, blueberries and more. The fall brings with its apples, figs, grapes, pomegranate and pears.
We have common vegetables in the winter season like kale, carrots, red cabbage, brussels sprouts, parsnips, swiss chards and much more. The fresh and juicy vegetables in summers are cucumbers, peppers, squash, beans and others. In the fall season, we have vegetables like lettuce, kale, cabbage, radishes, beets, garlic and fava beans etc.
